Terms and Conditions of Use

Payment Options:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. All online payments are processed through our secure online portal powered by Stripe & Paypal.

Sales Tax:

We collect sales tax on orders shipped to or picked up in New Jersey. The cart will add the latest New Jersey tax rate to your final total.

Website Item Numbers and Descriptions:

All descriptions on this website are for informational purposes only and can vary per any other source. All manufacturer SKU numbers will be listed when available and are the only method of confirming a product. Our descriptions are subjective and may vary from other websites, catalogs, advertisements, or personal views. Rainbow is not responsible for any variance in a description when a manufacturer SKU number is listed. That listed SKU number is the only code that confirms the actual product offered. No exceptions, especially on sheet glasses, dichroic, frits, stringers/noodles, or any other color based products. If any question arises about the products we offer, Rainbow staff is available via email or phone to confirm or answer those questions prior to ordering. 

Can I pick up orders at your location?

Yes, you can! Please place your order ahead of time and specify in the order notes when you plan to pick up. Allow a minimum of 24 hours for your order to be processed. If an item is needed in a rush, please contact us at 732-681-6003 to see if same day pick up is an option.

What are my Shipping Options?

We ship using UPS, FedEx, USPS, and Motor Freight. Prior to completing your order, please select your preferred method of shipping. All shipments are fully insured. Please note that we may, at our discretion, ship via a more preferred option other than what you may have selected. This applies to standard shipping options such as First Class Mail, Priority Mail, or UPS/FedEx Ground. Expedited options such as 2nd Day Air & Next Day Air will be sent out as requested.  This policy allows us to keep our costs down which translates to lower pricing. If a specific shipping method must be followed, enter it in the order notes, and we will proceed on a case by case basis.

Is Signature Required on high value shipments?

Although our shipments are fully insured, orders valued at $200+ may have a signature requirement at the time of delivery for added security. If you wish for your order to not be sent with signature required, please add a note during checkout to ship without a signature or contact us via email (info@rainbowartglass.com) before the order is shipped. This can not be changed once the order ships. If the signature is waived, the customer accepts full responsibility should the package get lost or stolen. Reimbursement for lost/stolen packages without a signature will be subject to the carriers claims process only. 

If the package gets returned to us by the carrier after several delivery attempts, the customer will be subject to the return shipping costs, and the outbound shipping cost to re-ship the package. To avoid this, please visit the carriers website for alternate delivery options if you are unable to sign for the package on the expected delivery date.


Are there any Glass Boxing or Packing Charges?

Yes. We ship sheet glass in 2 different sized boxes:

Small Box - Fits 16 pieces up to 12"x 12" in size ($11.95/box)
Large Box - Fits 9 pieces 10"x 16" or larger ($16.95/box)

Additional Packing/Shipping Charges:
Dichroic Glass & Front Surface Mirror Packing Charge - Up to 6 Pieces any size ($3.00/lot of 6)
6' Metals & Oak Framing Additional Handling Charge - ($21.95/box)
3' Metals Additional Handling Charge - ($8.00/box)

Free Shipping:

At certain times of the year, we may offer Free Shipping as a promotion for a certain time period or as a welcome offer. This promotion will always exclude 6' Metals/Wood, Artisan Glass Packs, Kilns, Select 24"+ Items, Kiln Shelving Larger than 13", & Kiln Paper Rolls/Sheets. Some items may be added or removed at our discretion at any time. Promotion applies to the Contiguous 48 U.S. States only. Glass Boxing Charges still apply. Orders will be shipped the most economical method. 

Damages:

In the rare event a package gets damaged, please contact us via Email immediately at info@rainbowartglass.com. Be sure to include the following in your email:

1. Name & Order Number
2. Phone Number
3. Shipping Address
4. Photos of Damaged Product/s and box

We will file a claim and reimburse you for the lost product. DO NOT throw away the damaged product, outer box, and inner packing unless we specify to discard in writing. Some carriers may require a inspection prior to granting a claim. Rainbow staff must be notified within 14 days of receipt of the item or claim cannot be submitted and refund will not be available.

Motor Freight Damage: When receiving the product, be sure to inspect it thoroughly. If you find ANY damage, be sure to write it on the document provided by the driver prior to signing. Then follow the procedure above.

Undeliverable or Returned Packages: Please check your address carefully. If a package shipped to you is not deliverable at the address you provided, you will be charged a re-addressing fee. That assumes they are able to correct the address and deliver the package. If the address cannot be corrected and the package is returned to us, you will be charged for both the original shipping cost, and the return shipping cost. Please double check the addresses you provide when ordering. For truck shipments, similar rules apply, but at a possibly higher cost, as it varies from carrier to carrier.

What if a product is out of stock?

We strive to have what you order in stock at all times. But, unfortunately, there will be times due to multiple reasons that a product may be out of stock. Here are some scenarios that may occur:

Orders where some or all items are temporarily out of stock for a short period of time (within a week) will be held until ready for shipping, with a notification sent by email.

If we don’t expect to have all items within a week, we will contact you and advise your options.

If you’re working under a deadline or require items by a certain date, please let us know in the order comments and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

We may occasionally deviate from these criteria/rules when it makes sense for the situation, but our goal is to operate as described.

Special Orders:

Don't see a product on our site from a manufacturer we have a relationship with? Don't worry! Feel free to request a special order via Email at info@rainbowartglass.com. Upon receipt of your email, we will request further information as needed and include a price quote for the product/shipping.

Special Voltage Equipment: We have access to Special Voltage Grinders, Saws, Kilns, and several other products for use in foreign countries. Please contact us via the method above for more details.

Kilns: ALL Kilns are Special Ordered except for select small units such as the #4563-Paragon Quikfire. All customers will be contacted to confirm their order and verify the selected options. Some kilns will need to be shipped via Motor Freight. We will contact you with a price quote and bill separately for the shipping upon approval.

**Important**: Special Orders and Custom Cut projects are Non-Refundable or Returnable. Kilns that have been ordered but not shipped might be able to be cancelled for a restocking fee. This is subject to the manufacturers policies and can vary.

Privacy Policy:

When you buy from Shopatrainbowartglass.com, we guarantee that all purchase transactions are completely secure transactions. Our shopping cart and checkout system uses encryption and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) security features. This ensures that your transactions are secure. (You will see these seals when you add something to your shopping cart.) To provide extra assurance, many credit card companies will also guarantee the use of your card for web transactions, and not charge you for any misuse.

Your personal information, including email address, will never be sold or otherwise given to a third party for marketing purposes. There are a few cases where we will share information:

1. With our suppliers if necessary to fulfill your order or solve a problem. For example, if we drop ship a product, we must pass your address to our supplier, or if you need support, we may share your contact info with our supplier.
2. Information is available to companies involved in the checkout process such as shopping cart, credit card companies, and PayPal.

These partners have also pledged not to sell or give away your information.
